B000MZTIK6 1969, 263 pages, Westvaco publishers, hardback, stated limited edition. Slipcase for book has some water stains on the lower corners and a dark vertical line on the front part on the left hand side near the spine edge, perhaps from a shelf or adjoining book, but the book itself appears to be in excellent shape. A beautiful book, just a few illustrations, on both the slipcase and the covers, a couple of more plan drawings of The Spray, Slocum's ship. A mention in the foreword and the back of the book indicates that the designer was the noted Bradbury Thompson, the foreword itself was written by Jean A. Bradnick. The typography, binding, and layout of the book are both simple and well-done. The book itself is quite collectible for its straight-forward presentation, except for the damaged, and slightly yellowed slipcase. A book by printing and publishing professionals with great pride, for those in the graphics profession who had great appreciation.
