Cesar Millan; Melissa Jo Peltier Cesar's Way: The Natural, Everyday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems Crown Archetype 0307337332 / 9780307337337 Hardcover Very Good 0307337332 Hardcover with dust jacket, 298 pages, Harmony Books publishers, 2006 copyright, stated First Edition, but the number line on the copyright page starts with the number 6, so this may be a 5th or 6th printing. Usually ships with delivery confirmation. Some slight shelf wear to the dust jacket, otherwise in almost new condition. Cesar Millan imparts his brand of dog psychology and insights into the members of the canine persuasion. He pinpoints many of the problems that Americans have with their companions by relating some of his life story with dogs from his childhood in rural Mexico, to his arrival in Los Angeles and his rise to being the consultant to the stars (including Oprah!). Some of his advice is common sense, but much is not, starting with who walks who on the leash. His television depiction of people and their dogs and their problems in communication make for interesting viewing, this book is a supplement to that. Of interest even to people who do not have dogs, since it gives insight into people and their obsessions, and how they communicate and just as often mis-communicate their apprehensions to their animal companions. *
